The after-effects of a stroke can vary from one patient to another depending on the location of the brain where the stroke occurred, how intense it was and the amount of damage that was caused. As well, these effects can vary by the individual’s overall state of health and age prior to the event. Our experienced caregivers have ample experience working with stroke patients.
Some of the long-term effects of a stroke are physical issues, problems communicating, cognitive issues, incontinence, fatigue, pain, anxiety and depression. Our skilled caregivers will work diligently with the patient to make sure they are as comfortable as possible and that every one of their needs are met with kindness and compassion.
